Guest photographer Denny Barnes took some amazing photos of a harvest at a local Christmas tree farm, where trees are grown specifically to become future Christmas trees. His description:
Well, It’s that time of year again. The Christmas Tree harvest is in full swing in my area. I think it gets earlier every year and the schedule for next year is get your tree on the 4th of July..LOL..We have two different method of harvesting the trees going on. One is air-lift to a truck and haul them to a different site for processing and the other is airlifting to a landing, wrapping the trees and loading into a semi for shipment to the buyer. Anyway, we have a truck full of trees go by about every 5 minutes.
So very cool! Denny sent along four photos, and since I couldn’t decide which one to post, I’ve uploaded all four. Click on the thumbnails below to see them larger. Thanks, Denny!
