This is a leaf in some rainwater on a street. I think that pretty much sums up Oregon during the autumn months.

In other news, there are a bunch of holiday happenings around town today (check StaytonEvents.com for the list). I’ll be attending the Santa Cruise-In car show at Stayton Fire Department and the Christmas and craft bazaar at Stayton Middle School. I might visit the tree lighting, too, depending on if I have any energy left, and if the weather cooperates. If you see a short round woman with a perpetually confused look on her face (plus a camera in her hand), say hi.
