Valley Fog
We have a treat today! Guest photographer Denny Barnes took today’s photos perfectly showcasing the temperature inversion we here the Willamette Valley have been experiencing. If you don’t know what an inversion is, read on:
I know you’re down there somewhere..lol….This is what the valley looks like from about 1300′. There is sunshine above all that fog. When I left the house on my walk it was 30°F and by the time I got to the top of the hill it was over 50°F so there was about a 20° difference in temperature in just 500′. By the time I got back home I was back in the fog and cold again.
