The Stayton area continues to be a icy white realm. Today’s eerie but gorgeous image comes from guest photographer Jim Mullholand, and showcases the weather quite well. His description:
Temperatures in the 20′s combined with persistent fog for several days has left a thick layer of frosty ice on all the trees creating a winter wonderland. This was taken on the SW side of Franklin Butte just south of Scio.
Be sure to visit Jim’s web site for more of his beautiful photography. Thanks, Jim!
I run Stayton Daily Photo on a completely volunteer basis, and don't make any money from this (the few ads I have on the site make maybe a few dollars a month). If you could help support the site by helping with the web hosting costs, that would be awesome!
