About
Tuesday, December 30th, 2008ABOUT THE BLOG:
Stayton, Oregon, USA, resides in the mid-Willamette Valley in the northwestern part of Oregon. Its population is about 7,700 people. It’s a pretty town with a lot of trees, a nifty covered bridge (Stayton-Jordan Bridge), and various other things you’ll find documented here. I post a new photo every single day. Sometimes more than one.
If you want to use one of the photos on this blog for your own blog or other site, please ask first! I usually give permission. Thanks.
This blog was started at Blogger, but was moved to WordPress on December 30, 2008.

ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAPHER:
Stayton Daily Photo was started on May 30, 2006, and is run by me, Celine Chamberlin. All photos were taken by me, unless otherwise noted. All photographs are copyright of their respective authors. All Rights Reserved. Please don’t steal.
I’ve lived in Stayton all my life. Yay for me.
I have another photoblog called Photos By Celine, to which I post sporadically.
For those who care, I use a Canon Rebel XT, with a small variety of lenses. For the first year or so of the blog, I used a Kodak P850.
If you live in the area, read the newspaper, and have a long memory, I wrote a weekly column for the Statesman Journal newspaper called Internet Explorer. It ran from 1998 to 2000. I think. It was a long time ago.

ABOUT THE WORDPRESS THEME:
I sometimes get asked what theme I use on this blog. It’s a modified (mangled) version of Manhattan.
AND, FINALLY…:
Have a happy day. That’s an order.
