I don’t normally run three separate guest photographers’ photos on the same day, but there was a rather spectacular rainbow last night, and three guest photographers captured it beautifully. The photo above by Matt Aalto starts us off. His description is adorable:

A few minutes before sunset, I caught this double rainbow. Both rainbows covered the entire sky for several minutes. I even thought about running outside and acting like this guy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OQSNhk5ICTI, but I held back…maybe.

Jeff Shultz caught the one above. His description:

An absolutely vivid rainbow looking east over Stayton from 3/4 of the way down Ida St – about 8:45pm Monday 6/17/2003. Shot from my back porch – I first saw it through the screen door and it seemed to take up the entire width of the door.

And finally, we have this beauty by Su Yoder. I’m sorry I missed the rainbow myself, but I am very thankful to have such wonderful guest photographers. Thanks, all! You guys rock.

Frosty spiderweb between two bushes in Stayton Oregon

Stayton had a whole bunch of hoar frost yesterday, and guest photographer Jeff Shultz captured this awesome spiderweb covered in the frost. Thanks, Jeff!
