The town Christmas tree has a new location this year, and is now a live tree in front of Regis High School on Regis St. I missed the lighting ceremony a couple of weekends ago, so I’m glad I finally got a chance to get a shot of it.
This giant Christmas holiday lighted display sits in a yard on the street that runs next to the hospital. I’m honestly not sure what that street it called, because one end says it’s Pine St., and the other end says it’s Fir St. Maybe I’ll just call it Fine St. and be done with it.
That home happens to be where my favorite oak tree lives (’twas once my favorite two oak trees, but one was cut down a couple of years ago), and they’ve wrapped a bunch of lights around the tree (see below). Very pretty. The other lights in the photo below are random businesses a few blocks away.
Happy day after Christmas, Kwanzaa, Boxing Day, and whatever else happens today. Here are the rest of the holiday decoration photos I took a few nights ago around town (here’s part 1). Click on the thumbnails below to see them larger, and I hope everyone has had a great holiday.
I thought this house on Mountain Dr. looked rather pretty a few nights ago, so here’s a picture of this house on Mountain Dr. looking rather pretty.
A call for guest photographers!
This week’s weather is supposed to be pretty bad, which means I likely will be unable to go out and take pictures. So if anyone has any photos of the Stayton area they would like to share, I would love you forever. Please see the Contribute a Photo page for details. If you have any trouble with the form, please email the photo and other details to me at celinechamberlingmailcom. Thank you!
