Today is the theme day here in City Daily Photo land, and this month it’s “street lights and signs.” Stayton has but a few street lights, so I decided to go with signs, instead.

Stayton has quite a few tree-oriented street signs (my theme day photo has its own theme… gosh, that’s exciting). The mosaic above shows a portion of such signs, but there are more.

And, yes, I know ‘evergreen’ isn’t a tree, but since the vast majority of the trees in town are of the evergreen variety, I felt it should be included.

Lynette Hanson, a Portland resident who’s thinking of starting a Portland daily photo blog (go for it, Lynette!), has sent me a contribution to today’s theme day.
